Here's an awesome hard hitting band. The vocals are airy and kind of chilling. The songs are creative and have that grind that goes from a grungy slow to an extreme hard hit. I liked alot of this album which is rare for me. I love the radio hit "Giving In" and I dont expect this to be the only or the last. The track "Blow It Away" could be another possible hit here.Track "The Way You Like It" has got to be one of the closest sounds to "Linkin Park" I have heard to date. I really like this album and have got to say drop the burger and go get this album!

Big Wreck - Pleasure & The Greed

......and along comes another band that has a similar sound to another band; but these guys DO deliver! The lead singer of this band looks and even sounds like Soundgarden's Chris Cornell down to the hairstyle. I heard the hit released from this album "Inhale" and thought it was descent; but I have to say that is it also the worst song on the album that I heard. If you love the mid 90 soundgarden sound like I did than you've got to have this album. I love the song "Deep" with its slow start and heavy yet pop sound."Undersold" will have you checking the cd sleeve to see if there is credits in there anywhere for Chris Cornell.
GOTTA HAVE IT!!

Drowning Pool - Sinner

With hit "Bodies" Being played at WWF events and the shear ear grabbing sound that has no equal these guys have gained serious airplay and popularity. An album with a too heavy sound to probably receive too much popularity you are going to have to buy this album to appreciate it. P#ssy's need not apply! Track "All over me " has got a great forceful sound that sits you back in the seat."Pity" has got some funky airy guitar thing that'll make you stand back up and take notice. Have to say if you like the hard driving stuff go give this a listen, and then brush the hamburger seeds off the wallet and pay for it.

No One - Self Titled

Death metal rockers need apply! This guy has got vocals you'd have found coming from the throat of an 80's band like Celctic Frost. First hit "Chemicals" has got a great mix of that death sound with some modern rap, funk sound. If you preview the first few seconds from most of the sounds on this album you'll hear some great slow guitar riffs, and uniformily they all go into a heavy onslaught. Track "Inside Out" is an awesome slow mellowing tune to just chill out and relax to.This album seems to have two unique styles of music to it. One is the modern heavy rock, rap feel , and the other is a strictly heavy death sound. This is a fairly good album that you'll enjoy if you like the heavier stuff, if youre into the newer stuff you may find this a little too old school for your taste. Head on over to CD NOW and give it a preview.

Puddle Of Mudd - Come Clean

What can I say Fred Durst does it again. I've heard reports these guys owe everything to a demo tape slipped to Durst backstage at a concert. I'd have to say the opposite. Durst should find himself lucky to have been the first to hook up with these guys because they're going to make themselves as well as him some serious dollars with album sales. They have an early 90's Alice In Chains sound, feel, and look. The singer reminds you of Jerry Cantrell of AIC. I love the first hit "Control" and that awesome lyric "I love the way you smack my ass". I saw the video and they seem pretty obvious with the mouthing of the words even though you dont hear what there saying, all while Durst makes a brief appearance as a customer in the crowd standing to chear the song. Track "She Hates Me" will give you flashbacks of Kurt Cobain and Nirvana, while another track "Piss It All Away" will have you thinking of Silverchair. I would grab this album before you cant find it, cause this one is gonna blow up and go big. A definitive add to the cd collection.

Rammstein - Mutter

What? ....What? I can't make out a word this guy says , as of course most cannot since its all in German. I heard the track "Ich Will" and said "who in the hell is that, it's f@c&in' sweet! I couldn't get over how clean the recording of this track was. It's got some airy synth sounds in the background with his freaky voice saying "Ich Will". In parts the music slows and he sings with a chanting sound thats got a haunting eerie feel. While the song "Links 2,3,4 " with it catchy beat will teach you to count a little German, (links two, tri, fear) or at least that's how it sounds. Another sweet little tunage is the song "Rein Raus". I'd have to make the investment in time and money, and say go buy this and learn to sing German even if you dont have the foggiest clue what the dudes saying!
